Balms, the new cleansing craze for beautiful skin

Throughout the day, our skin suffocates underneath all our make-up and is subjected to constant environmental aggressors: pollution, toxins, tobacco…All these factors lead to a loss of hydration, an accumulation of sebum, poor oxygenation of the tissues and the clogging of your pores. The skin looks dull and tired and imperfections start to appear on its surface. At the end of the day it needs to be cleansed, purified and, most of all, it needs to breathe! 

The first thing that makes the balm stand out from other cleansing products is its texture. It starts off in a solid form and then, when it comes into contact with the skin, it transforms into a smooth and melting texture.  Extremely effective on both your face and around the eye area, it conquers even the most stubborn make-up and does so gently thanks to its oil-like properties. It also helps to reduce the excess sebum that builds up on the surface of the skin throughout the day.  Often rich in aromatic plant oils, balms offer cleansing that is both very sensory and relaxing, resulting in a really pleasurable experience. Unlike other cleansing products, you should really take your time to apply them and enjoy the process.  

After taking a generous amount of product, place it into the palm of your hand and warm it up until it forms an oil-like texture. Then apply it by massaging it gently into your skin with the tips of your fingers, using small circular motions up the face starting at the neck.  Cocoon yourself: don't hesitate to really take your time and use the massage as a moment of pure relaxation. A good skin massage, on top of helping you unwind, activates the circulation of water in your cells as well as improving tissue oxygenation.  Then, once it's all rinsed off with lukewarm water, you will be left with clear, healthy, soothed and beautiful skin.
